Sky Is the Limit : Tomokazu Matsuyama in Hong Kong

LKG_JapaneseArt_Tomokazu_Matsuyama_skyisthelimit_hong_kong_650pxTomokazu Matsuyama was selected for the 2014 Hong Kong Harbour City Sculpture Project placing him amongst the luminaries of past projects Kusama Yayoi, KAWS, Yue Minjun and Florentijn Hofman, a huge accolade for this rising star. A 6.5 metre high stainless steel sculpture entitled ‘Sky is the Limit’ expressed Matzu’s artistic preoccupation with the interconnection of Eastern and Western iconography. Lesley and Byron were in Hong Kong with the artist to see this significant work and are extremely pleased to have placed it in an Australian collection, eventually to be on public view.
