1962   Born Okayama prefecture
1987   Graduated from Tokyo Gakugei Daigaku – postgraduate in teaching art.
1990   Selected for the ‘Asahi Modern Craft Exhibition’ and again in 91, 95 & 96
Selected for the Takaoka Crafts Exhibition. Silver prize.
1991   Selected for the ‘Talentborse Handwerk 1991’ Prize winner.
Established Studio in Hachioji-city, Tokyo
1996   Won the 13th Tansuiou Prize, presented by the Sato Foundation for the promotion of arts and crafts.
Exhibited at “Forms of Lines; Forms of Plates, Gallery U
1997   Selected for the Japan Crafts Exhibition, Received Grand prize
Participated in the 2nd “lights in daily lives exhibition” at Living design gallery
